Sintered

SINTERED STONE, which is translated as "sintered dense stone". It is a new type of high-tech board made of natural raw materials and clay through a special process. It integrates various top technologies in board production. Top product.

The sintered integrates a number of top craftsmanship and selects high-quality raw materials. It is formed by tens of thousands of tons of presses, plus 8-channel high-definition inkjet engraving, and then fired at a high temperature of 1250 °C. Compared with traditional ceramic tiles, it has superior physical properties such as fire resistance, frost resistance, wear resistance and stain resistance, corrosion resistance and corrosion resistance, high strength and impact resistance, zero water absorption and zero penetration.

Physical and Chemical Properties

Due to the different sources and ingredients, the physical and chemical properties of the two are quite different, making their use in home improvement obvious advantages and disadvantages.

01. Hardness

Sintered: Mohs hardness level 6-7, wear-resistant, scratch-resistant, impact-resistant, used on the kitchen island, cutting vegetables will not wear out.

Marble: Mohs hardness is 2.5-5, relatively fragile, afraid of hard objects scratching and impact, easy to scratch. However, it is easy to process, carve and smooth, polish, etc., and can be carved into different patterns.

02. Dense

Sintered: The density is higher and more uniform, the water permeability is only 2/10,000, and the waterproof and anti-fouling ability far exceeds that of marble.

Marble: Relatively loose, according to different varieties and grades, vary greatly. It absorbs water easily and loses its gloss after prolonged use. Not suitable for use in kitchen and bathroom space.

03. Stability

Sintered: Very stable, durable, will not change color and deformation, to meet the various needs of daily home.

Marble: The calcium carbonate contained in it is easily weathered and corroded by the action of carbon dioxide, carbide and water vapor in the atmosphere. More suitable for use in indoor space, not suitable for outdoor use.

04. Temperature resistance

Sintered: Can withstand high temperatures up to 2000 degrees Celsius without leaving marks. Stir-fries can be cooked directly on top.

Marble: The structure is relatively loose, and there are many gaps inside. When the temperature is high, the air in the gap expands and breaks easily.

05. Acid and alkali resistance

Sintered: The main component is silica, which has strong acid and alkali resistance, and general acid and alkali substances will not react with it.

Marble: The main component is calcium carbonate, which will react chemically when encountering acid and alkali. It is not resistant to acid and alkali, and is prone to chemical reactions.

06. Fire resistance

Sintereed: Not afraid of fire, even if it is baked directly on an open fire, there will be no problem.

Marble: It cannot be burned directly, and the high temperature caused by the fire will cause it to shatter.
